12 must be North Platte's lucky number: they beat McCook with that score not once but twice on Saturday. The Bulldogs put the hurt on the Bison with a sharp 12-1 win. With that victory, the Bulldogs brought their scoring average up to 6.5 runs per game.

The team relied heavily on Katie Titus, who went a perfect 3-for-3 with one home run, five RBI, and three runs. Those three runs gave her a new career-high. Lauren Bowers was another key player, going a perfect 3-for-3 with three RBI, one run, and one double.

North Platte hit smart and finished the game with only one strikeout. The team has now struck out at least four batters in four consecutive matchups.
