After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Mount Hope Christian Academy, Greater Beckley Christian was happy to have turned things around on Friday. They came out on top against the Calvary Baptist Academy Patriots by a score of 55-43. The Crusaders have seen this before: they got the W the last time they saw the Patriots, too.

Greater Beckley Christian's success was the result of a balanced attack that saw several players step up, but Leah Adkins led the charge by putting up 22 points and three steals. That makes it three consecutive games in which Adkins has scored at least a third of Greater Beckley Christian's points. Another player making a difference was Destyni Farrish, who posted 16 points.

Greater Beckley Christian's win bumped their record up to 6-10. As for Calvary Baptist Academy, their loss dropped their record down to 2-11.
