Basketball Game Preview: Canoga Park Hunters vs. Reseda Regents

Canoga Park is 1-9 against Reseda since December of 2018 but they'll have a chance to close the gap a little bit on Wednesday. The Canoga Park Hunters will take on the Reseda Regents at 4:30 p.m. Both teams took a loss in their last game, so they'll have plenty of motivation to get the 'W'.

Canoga Park is headed into Wednesday's match looking for a big change in momentum after dropping their third straight game on Friday. They were dealt a 90-10 defeat at the hands of Kennedy. The Hunters were in a tough position after the first half, with the score already sitting at 56-6.

Meanwhile, Reseda was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their fourth straight loss. The game between them and San Fernando didn't end well, with Reseda falling 60-46. While losing is never fun, the Regents can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' California basketball rankings (they are ranked 980th, while the Tigers are ranked 315th).

Reseda's defeat dropped their record down to 1-6. As for Canoga Park, their loss dropped their record down to an identical 1-6.

Canoga Park was dealt a bruising 61-24 defeat at the hands of Reseda in their previous meeting back in December of 2024. Can Canoga Park avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
