Softball Recap: Webster City Takes a Loss

Webster City lost against Hampton-Dumont/CAL on June 11th, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Monday. The Lynx took an 8-4 hit to the loss column at the hands of Hampton-Dumont/CAL. The Lynx have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Webster City's loss dropped their record down to 4-16. As for Hampton-Dumont/CAL, they moved to 5-9 with that victory, which also ended their five-game losing streak.

Looking ahead, Webster City will challenge Iowa Falls-Alden at 7:30 p.m. on Wednesday. As for Hampton-Dumont/CAL, they wasted no time getting back out on the field and have already played their next game, a 4-1 defeat against Grundy Center on the 1st.
