Baseball Recap: Kennesaw Mountain Takes a Loss

The Kennesaw Mountain Mustangs came up short against the Villa Rica Wildcats on Monday and fell 6-3. The Mustangs have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Kennesaw Mountain saw six different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Jake Phelps, who scored a run while getting on base in three of his four plate appearances.

Kennesaw Mountain's defeat dropped their record down to 13-6. As for Villa Rica, the win (which was their 18th in a row) raised their record to 18-1.

While Kennesaw Mountain had to take the loss, they won't have to wait long to give it another shot: the pair's next game is a rematch scheduled at 5:55 p.m. on Wednesday.
