Desert Oasis dropped down to 4-3 on Friday, ending the team's three-game streak of wins. They were outmatched by the Liberty Patriots and fell 45-0. The contest marked the first time this year in which the Diamondbacks were not able to get on the board.

As for Liberty, they pushed their record up to 7-1 with the win, which was their fifth straight at home dating back to last season. They might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won five matchups by 20 points or more this season.

Liberty's success was the result of a balanced attack that saw several players step up, but Selby Griego led the charge by rushing for 62 yards and one TD. Another back making a difference was Ezra Sanelivi, who rushed for 88 yards and one score on only ten carries.

We've got plenty of inter-league action coming up soon. Desert Oasis will take on rival Foothill at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. Meanwhile, Liberty is set to square off against their familiar foe Basic at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.
