Softball Recap: Woodward-Granger Comes Up Short

Woodward-Granger was not able to break out of their rough patch on Wednesday as the team picked up their fourth straight defeat. They were a single run away from ending the streak, but they lost a 5-4 heartbreaker at the hands of the Ogden Bulldogs. Give some credit to the fans of both teams: the last four times they've met, the home team has come away the winner.

Woodward-Granger's loss dropped their record down to 13-8-1. As for Ogden, the win (which was their third in a row) raised their record to 13-11.

The teams didn't have to wait long for a rematch: the Bulldogs beat Woodward-Granger by a score of 7-6 later that day.
