Mill Creek and Richmond Hill squared off in some playoff action on Monday, but Mill Creek had to settle for second. They fell just short of the Wildcats by a score of 9-8. The Hawks' loss signaled the end of their four-game winning streak.

Mill Creek's defeat dropped their record down to 17-10. As for Richmond Hill, they have been performing well recently as they've won 11 of their last 14 games. That's provided a nice bump to their 16-9 record this season.

While Mill Creek had to take the loss, they won't have to wait long to give it another shot: the pair will be back at it again later today.
