Kerman had already won two in a row (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 2 goals) and they went ahead and made it three on Saturday. They never let the Reedley Pirates get on the board and left with a 1-0 win. Given Kerman's advantage in MaxPreps' California soccer rankings (they are ranked 117th, while Reedley are ranked 244th) , the result wasn't entirely unexpected.

Kerman's one-goal win came courtesy of Briseyda Tovar, who's now up to two this season.

Kerman's victory bumped their record up to 6-2. As for Reedley, their defeat dropped their record down to 7-5-1.

Kerman wasted no time getting back out on the pitch and has already played their next matchup, a 2-0 loss against Fresno Christian on the 15th. As for Reedley, they are taking a road trip to face off against Mt. Whitney at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday.
