Soccer Game Preview: Trinity Christian vs. LaGrange

The Trinity Christian Lions will challenge the LaGrange Grangers at 8:00 p.m. on Tuesday.

Trinity Christian is probably headed into the game with a chip on their shoulder considering Whitewater just ended the team's five-game winning streak on Friday. They came up short against the Wildcats, falling 4-0.

Meanwhile, winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask LaGrange). They were the clear victor by a 6-1 margin over Spalding on Thursday. It was an even better day for Aidan Collins as he scored three goals for his team.

Trinity Christian's defeat was their first in the region, dropping their region record down to 2-1 and their overall record down to 5-2. As for LaGrange, they now have a winning record of 5-4.

Trinity Christian might still be hurting after the 6-2 loss they got from LaGrange in their previous meeting back in March of 2024. That contest was all but decided by halftime, at which point Trinity Christian was down 4-0.
