You can't lose the game if you win every quarter, and that was precisely Conifer's strategy against Skyview on Friday. Given that consistent dominance, it should come as no surprise that the Lobos blew the Wolverines out of the water with a 56-0 final score. The Lobos have beaten the Wolverines the last seven times they've met, but they better watch out: this was the closest the Wolverines has come to flipping the script.

Conifer didn't go easy on the quarterback and picked off three passes before the game was over. It was truly a group effort as Jack Fager, Jj Dowell, and McKade Tracey picked up one apiece. Fager has been hot recently, having posted at least one interception the last three times he's played. Conifer received some extra help from Liam Van Airsdale, whose fumble return for a touchdown made for one of the most unforgettable moments.

Conifer's win bumped their record up to 5-1. As for Skyview, they have been struggling recently as they've lost three of their last four matchups. That's put a noticeable dent in their 3-3 record this season.
