Volleyball Recap: Glenn Has No Trouble Against Atkins

After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Mount Tabor, Glenn was happy to have turned things around on Monday. They put the hurt on the Atkins Camels with a sharp 3-0 victory. The Bobcats haven't had any issues with the Camels recently, as the game was their fifth consecutive win against them.

Glenn not only won, but also showed off some consistency: they kept Atkins between 16 and 18 points across their sets. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-16, 25-17, 25-18.

Kelly Chau was the offensive standout of the contest as she had ten digs. That's the most digs she has posted over her last seven matchups.

Glenn was lethal from the service line and finished the match with 22 aces. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now served at least seven aces in four consecutive matches.

Glenn's record is now 7-16. As for Atkins, they have been struggling recently as they've lost six of their last seven contests. That's put a noticeable dent in their 4-17 record this season.

Glenn didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next matchup, a 3-0 loss against Oak Grove on the 14th. As for Atkins, they are taking a road trip to square off against Smoky Mountain at 5:00 p.m. on Saturday.
