After soaring to five goals the game before, Sheldon was a bit more limited in their game on Monday. They came up short against the Spencer Tigers, falling 8-0. The result was nothing new for Sheldon as the team haven't won a game since April 7th.

Sheldon's defeat dropped their record down to 0-5-1. As for Spencer, they are on a roll lately: they've won six of their last seven matches. That's provided a nice bump to their 7-2-3 record this season.

Sheldon will take on West Sioux at 6:30 p.m. on Thursday. As for Spencer, they didn't take long to hit the pitch again: they've already played their next contest, an 8-0 win against Sibley-Ocheyedan on the 28th.
