Soccer Recap: Aspire Langston Hughes Academy Comes Up Short

Aspire Langston Hughes Academy was not able to break out of their rough patch on Wednesday as the team picked up their third straight loss. They came up short against the Ben Holt College Prep Academy Bobcats, falling 15-1. Things were pretty much settled by the half as the Titans were already down 6-1.

Their goal came courtesy of Maliyah Loredo, who's now up to ten this season.

Aspire Langston Hughes Academy's defeat dropped their record down to 3-7-1. As for Ben Holt College Prep Academy, the win keeps them at an undefeated 11-0-2.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Aspire Langston Hughes Academy will square off against Delta Charter at 1:30 p.m. on Monday. As for Ben Holt College Prep Academy, they will challenge Millennium at 1:00 p.m. on Saturday. Millennium is on a five-game streak of home wins, Ben Holt College Prep Academy a six-game streak of away wins -- so someone will have to leave a streak behind on the pitch.
