Softball Recap: Crisp Academy Takes a Loss

If Crisp Academy was riding high fresh off their 10-1 takedown of Westwood on Thursday, their most recent game may have dampened their spirits a bit. The Wildcats lost 16-5 to the Fullington Academy Trojans on Monday. The Wildcats were not able to repeat the success they had when they faced the Trojans earlier this season, when they won 12-8.

Kylee Odom was cooking despite her team's loss, going 1-for-3 with one home run and two RBI. That home run marked the first that she has launched this season.

Crisp Academy's defeat dropped their record down to 11-8. As for Fullington Academy, they have been performing well recently as they've won three of their last four contests. That's provided a massive bump to their 7-9 record this season.

Crisp Academy will look to defend their home field on Monday against Central Fellowship Christian Academy at 4:00 p.m. As for Fullington Academy, they will venture away from home to challenge Twiggs Academy at 4:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
