Soccer Game Preview: Community Christian vs. Young Americans Christian

The Community Christian Knights will head out on the road to square off against the Young Americans Christian Eagles at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Young Americans Christian took a loss in their last game and will be looking to turn the tables on Community Christian, who comes in off a win.

Community Christian took a eight-goal loss the last time they faced off against Hills Academy, but this time they managed to keep it close and that made all the difference. Community Christian had just enough and edged out Hills Academy 2-1. The victory made it back-to-back wins for Community Christian.

Meanwhile, Young Americans Christian was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their fourth straight defeat. They were a single goal away from ending the streak, but they lost a 3-2 heartbreaker at the hands of Skipstone Academy. Aidan Palmer was hit with a yellow card, which may have had some impact on his (and the team's) ability to make aggressive plays.

Elliot Foreman wasn't going to let Skipstone Academy walk away unscathed as he scored both of Young Americans Christian's goals, bringing his season total up to two goals.

Young Americans Christian's loss dropped their record down to 0-4. As for Community Christian, they now have a winning record of 2-1.

Community Christian beat Young Americans Christian 3-1 when the teams last played back in May of 2018. Does Community Christian have another victory up their sleeve, or will Young Americans Christian turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
