Football Recap: Unionville Takes a Loss

Unionville scored first but ultimately less than Avon Grove in their matchup on Friday. They were just a hair shy of victory and fell 29-28 to the Red Devils. The loss was a bit of a surprise, as the Longhorns came into the game with a sizable advantage in MaxPreps' Pennsylvania football rankings (they are ranked 87th, while the Red Devils are ranked 229th).

The defeat was their first at home , dropping their record down to 4-3. As for Avon Grove, their victory ended a five-game drought on the road dating back to last season and puts them at 2-5.
