Casa Grande is 9-0-1 against Sonoma Valley since January of 2020 and they'll have a chance to extend that success on Friday. The Casa Grande Gauchos are taking a road trip to take on the Sonoma Valley Dragons at 6:00 p.m. Casa Grande is currently enjoying a perfect season and no doubt wants to keep things rolling.

Last Friday, Casa Grande earned a 3-1 victory over Petaluma. Given the Gauchos' advantage in MaxPreps' California soccer rankings (they are ranked 108th, while the Trojans are ranked 377th), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.

Casa Grande hit Petaluma with a three-pronged attack, as the team got scores from Olivia Kiss, Ariadna Analco Ventura, and Ashley Melton.

Meanwhile, for the first time since back in November of 2024, Sonoma Valley was forced to settle for a draw on Wednesday. They and Justin-Siena finished up their match with a 3-3 draw.

Sonoma Valley's draw makes their record 1-6-2 this season. As for Casa Grande, they pushed their record up to 5-0-1 with the win, which was their third straight at home.

Casa Grande took their victory against Sonoma Valley in their previous matchup back in February of 2024 by a conclusive 3-0. Does Casa Grande have another victory up their sleeve, or will Sonoma Valley turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
