Mankato East took care of business in their home opener (and then some) on Friday. Everything went their way against the Owatonna Huskies as they made off with a 28-7 win. For the Cougars, this counts as revenge for the 44-0 victory the Huskies walked away with the last time they faced one another back in October of 2019.

Coming up, Mankato East will be playing at home against John Marshall at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Owatonna, they will head out to take on Mankato West at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.
