Soccer Recap: Irvington Takes a Loss

Irvington lost against American back in January and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Thursday. The Irvington Vikings came up short against the American Eagles, falling 10-0. While losing is never fun, the Vikings can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' California soccer rankings (they are ranked 1121st, while the Eagles are ranked 359th).

Irvington dropped their record down to 2-16 with the defeat, which was their seventh straight at home. As for American, the victory made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 12-6.

As of now, neither Irvington nor American have any future games scheduled.
