Football Recap: Star Thomas' Big Game Can't Quite Lead Orange over Dana Hills + How To Watch

After flying high against Fountain Valley last Thursday, Orange came back down to earth. The Panthers lost 49-28 to the Dana Hills Dolphins on Friday. The Panthers were in a tough position after the first half, with the score already sitting at 35-14.

Orange's defeat came despite a true team effort from the offense with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Star Thomas, who threw for 255 yards and three TDs, and also rushed for 57 yards. 152 of Thomas' passing yards were hauled in by Dylan Stone, who also brought in two receiving touchdowns.

Dana Hills' win was the result of several impressive offensive performances. One of the most notable came from Carter Anderson, who threw for 159 yards and four touchdowns. Radley Geiss helped Anderson out on the ground, rushing for 75 yards and a pair of scores.

Orange's record now sits at 4-3. As for Dana Hills, they pushed their record up to 7-0 with the win, which was their fifth straight at home dating back to last season.

Orange has already played their next matchup, a 34-28 victory against Northwood on the 17th. As for Dana Hills, they also didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next game, a 49-13 win against Fountain Valley on the 17th.
