Basketball Game Preview: Coleville Wolves vs. Mineral County Serpents

Coleville and Mineral County are an even 5-5 against one another since February of 2018, but not for long. The Coleville Wolves will be playing at home against the Mineral County Serpents at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. Given that both suffered a loss in their last games, they both have a little extra motivation heading into this matchup.

Coleville will have to contain Raeane Johnson as she made an impact in Mineral County's last game. She posted eight points and three steals. Aveline Blinco was another key player, putting up four points in addition to seven boards and four steals.

Mineral County's loss dropped their record down to 3-12. As for Coleville, their defeat dropped their record down to 7-10.

Everything came up roses for Coleville against Mineral County when the teams last played back in February of 2024, as the team secured a 55-25 win. In that game, Coleville amassed a halftime lead of 39-11, an impressive feat they'll look to repeat on Friday.
