Prairie View not only won on Saturday, but they posted their biggest win since September 21, 2024 (when they won 15-3). They blew past the Wheat Ridge Farmers 11-3.

The team relied heavily on Audrey Trujillo, who went a perfect 1-for-1 with three runs, one stolen base, and one RBI. Leilah Mateus was another key player, going 2-for-4 with one stolen base, one run, and one RBI.

Prairie View's first victory this season bumped their record up to 1-4. As for Wheat Ridge, they are on a five-game losing streak (dating back to last season) that has dropped them down to 0-4.

Looking ahead, Prairie View will be playing in front of their home fans against Adams City at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Wheat Ridge, they will take on Denver North at 4:00 p.m. on Wednesday.
