Softball Recap: West Bend-Mallard Takes a Loss

West Bend-Mallard was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their sixth straight loss. They came up short against the Eagle Grove Eagles, falling 13-2. Having soared to a lofty 11 runs in the game before, the Wolverines couldn't push the score so high this time.

West Bend-Mallard's defeat dropped their record down to 2-12. As for Eagle Grove, the victory was the third in a row for them, bringing their record up to 8-4.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. West Bend-Mallard will challenge Pocahontas at 7:30 p.m. on Wednesday. As for Eagle Grove, they will head out to take on Lake Mills at 6:00 p.m. on Wednesday.
