Soccer Game Preview: Ontario vs. Diamond Ranch

A feisty cat fight will be fought when the Ontario face off against the Diamond Ranch at 5:00 p.m. on Friday... Ontario's offense has struggled lately (the team hasn't scored more than a single goal for three straight games), a trend the team is no doubt ready to end.

Ontario managed to keep up with Norco until halftime on Friday, but things quickly went downhill from there. Ontario lost 6-0 to Norco. While losing is never fun, the Jaguars can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' California soccer rankings (they are ranked 884th, while the Cougars are ranked 154th).

Meanwhile, there's no place like home for Diamond Ranch, who bounced back after a loss on the road on Friday. They skirted past Chino 2-1. The score was all tied up 1-1 at the break, but the Panthers were the better team in the second half.

Ontario's defeat dropped their record down to 2-9-1. As for Diamond Ranch, their win bumped their record up to 8-6.
