Softball Game Preview: Norcross Blue Devils vs. Parkview Panthers

For the first time this season, Norcross will have a chance to prove themselves in a conference matchup. They will head out to square off against the Parkview Panthers at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Norcross knows how to get runs on the board -- the team has finished with ten runs or more in their past three contests -- so hopefully Parkview likes a good challenge.

Norcross' pitching crew heads into the game hoping to repeat the dominance they displayed on Monday. They were the clear victors by a 19-0 margin over Meadowcreek. The Blue Devils have beaten the Mustangs the last three times they've met, but they better watch out: this was the closest the Mustangs has come to flipping the script.

The home team had won the previous four meetings between Parkview and Loganville, and Loganville kept the tradition alive. The Panthers fell just short of the Red Devils by a score of 3-2 on Monday. The loss put an end to the Panthers' undefeated start to the season.

Norcross now has a winning record of 3-2. As for Parkview, their defeat was their first of the season and makes their record 2-1.

Norcross might still be hurting after the 14-0 loss they got from Parkview when the teams last played back in September of 2024. Can the Blue Devils avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
