Football Recap: Bernstein Comes Up Short + How To Watch

The Bernstein Dragons took a blow against the Ganesha Giants on Friday, falling 70-6. The contest marked the Dragons' lowest-scoring matchup so far this season.

Albert Kelsey was nothing short of spectacular for Ganesha: he rushed for 113 yards and three TDs on only seven carries, and also threw for 213 yards and three touchdowns on only 12 passes. Henry Rodriguez was Kelsey's top target, picking up 68 receiving yards and one score, while also rushing for 66 yards and one touchdown.

Bernstein's defeat dropped their record down to 3-2. As for Ganesha, they pushed their record up to 3-2 with the victory, which was their fifth straight at home dating back to last season.

Looking ahead, Bernstein will square off against Mark Keppel at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. The Dragons will be up against the Aztecs' rather soft defense (which has allowed 50.25 points per game), so fans could be in store for a big offensive performance. As for Ganesha, they will have some time to savor their win since their next game is a little ways off: they'll take on La Puente at 7:00 p.m. on October 3. The Giants will need to watch out since the Warriors have now posted at least 31 points every time they've taken the field this season.
