Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Peninsula). Their defense stepped up to hand the Chadwick Dolphins a 2-0 shutout on Monday. The score was all tied up 0-0 at the break, but Peninsula were the better team in the second half.

Cienna Mendoza and Lana Craig scored both of Peninsula's goals, which were season-firsts for both players.
