Winning always takes teamwork, but on Friday Damarion Evans stepped things up a notch to give Sumner the 'W'. Evans picked up two sacks, forced one fumble, and made five total tackles (4.0 for loss), good enough for us to rate the performance as the best he's had all season long. He has become a key player for Sumner: the team is undefeated when he posts at least one sack, but 1-2 otherwise.

Looking ahead, Evans and Sumner will take on Strawberry Crest at 7:30 p.m. on Friday.
