Fossil Ridge has gone a perfect 10-0 against Poudre recently and they'll look to pad the win column further on Thursday. The SaberCats will head out to square off against the Impalas at 3:30 p.m.

Rocky Mountain hit Fossil Ridge with a six-run fifth inning on Tuesday, which goes a long way in explaining the final result. Neither the SaberCats nor the Lobos could gain the upper hand so the two teams had to settle for a 9-9 draw.

Meanwhile, Poudre was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their 14th straight loss. They lost 15-0 to Fort Collins.

Poudre's defeat dropped their record down to 3-19. Fossil Ridge's tie gives them a new season record of 6-12-2.

Everything went Fossil Ridge's way against Poudre in their previous meeting last Tuesday, as Fossil Ridge made off with a 17-2 victory. The rematch might be a little tougher for the SaberCats since the team won't have the home-field advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
