Soccer Game Preview: Coastal HomeSchool vs. Beaufort Academy

The Coastal HomeSchool Hurricanes will head out on the road to challenge the Beaufort Academy Eagles at 5:30 p.m. on Wednesday. Coastal HomeSchool's offense has struggled lately (the team hasn't scored more than a single goal for three straight games), a trend the team is no doubt ready to end.

Coastal HomeSchool will bounce into Wednesday's game after beating United Home Schoolers, who they had gone 0-3 against in their three prior meetings. The Hurricanes' defense stepped up to hand the Phoenix a 1-0 shutout last Saturday.

Meanwhile, Beaufort Academy waltzed into their matchup on Thursday with two straight wins... but they left with three. Everything went their way against Varsity Opponent as they made off with a 10-0 win. Considering Beaufort Academy have won six contests by more than two goals this season, Thursday's blowout was nothing new.

Their offense was hitting Varsity Opponent from everywhere, as eight different players booted in a goal. Grady Lamm led that balanced group of strikers and accounted for three goals all by himself.

Beaufort Academy's victory bumped their record up to 7-4. As for Coastal HomeSchool, their win bumped their record up to 3-4.
