Basketball Recap: Drew Comes Up Short

Drew was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their 13th straight loss dating back to last season. They were beaten by the San Francisco Waldorf Wolverines 55-20. The Dragons lost against the Wolverines in their previous head to head back in January of 2024, too, but the margin this time around was even wider than the 39-29 score last time.

Henry Hanlon continued her habit of posting crazy stat lines for San Francisco Waldorf, putting up 28 points. That makes it three consecutive games in which Hanlon has scored at least a third of San Francisco Waldorf's points.

Drew's defeat dropped their record down to 0-9. As for San Francisco Waldorf, the victory was the fourth in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 6-3.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Drew has already played their next matchup (against Urban), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing. San Francisco Waldorf will take on The Bay School at 5:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
