Softball Recap: Platte Valley Comes Up Short

Platte Valley fell victim to University and their airtight pitching crew on Thursday. They came up short against the Bulldogs, falling 15-0. The result was an unpleasant reminder to the Broncos of the 16-0 defeat they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in September of 2024.

Platte Valley has also traveled a rocky road recently, having lost three of their last four games. That's put a noticeable dent in their 7-9 record this season. As for University, the victory (which was their sixth in a row) raised their record to 16-2.

Platte Valley has already played their next contest, a 12-1 win against Holyoke on the 27th. As for University, they also didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next matchup, an 8-1 victory against Greeley West on the 27th.
