Baseball Recap: Chamblee Comes Up Short

Chamblee fought the good fight in their extra-innings game against Woodward Academy on Tuesday but wound up with a less-than-desirable result. They fell just short of the War Eagles by a score of 8-7. The Bulldogs haven't had much luck with the War Eagles recently, as the team has come up short the last five times they've met.

Chamblee's loss dropped their record down to 3-6. As for Woodward Academy, the win made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 4-3.

The teams didn't have to wait long for a rematch: the War Eagles beat Chamblee by a score of 16-1 on Wednesday.
