Soccer Game Preview: Santa Ana vs. Fullerton

The Santa Ana Saints will head out on the road to challenge the Fullerton Indians at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Both come into the contest bolstered by wins in their previous matches.

Santa Ana took a loss when they played away from home on Tuesday, but their home fans gave them all the motivation they needed on Thursday. They never let Westminster onto the board and left with a 2-0 victory.

Meanwhile, Fullerton entered their tilt with Garden Grove on Thursday with three consecutive wins but they'll enter their next game with four. They came out on top in a nail-biter against the Argonauts, sneaking past 2-1. Sophia Thibodeaux had the honor of scoring the game-winner for the Indians.

Fullerton's win was their fourth straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 14-5-3. The wins came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they scored 12 goals over those four games. As for Santa Ana, their victory bumped their record up to 9-5-2.

Santa Ana might still be hurting after the 4-1 defeat they got from Fullerton when the teams last played on January 9th. Can Santa Ana avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
