Softball Recap: Midtown Takes a Loss

Midtown fell victim to Taylor County and their airtight pitching crew on Saturday. They lost 13-0 to the Vikings. The Knights have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Midtown's loss dropped their record down to 4-6. As for Taylor County, the victory (which was their sixth in a row) raised their record to 10-2.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Midtown will venture away from home to face off against Mays at 5:55 p.m. on Tuesday. The Raiders have struggled to contain batters this season (they've allowed 22.5 runs per game on average), something the Knights will no doubt try to take advantage of. As for Taylor County, they will face off against Marion County at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday. The two teams have allowed few runs on average (the Vikings 2, the Eagles 3.8) so any runs scored will be well earned.
