Soccer Game Preview: Rim of the World vs. San Gorgonio

The Rim of the World Fighting Scots will venture away from home to challenge the San Gorgonio Spartans at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday. Rim of the World's offense has struggled lately (the team hasn't scored more than a single goal for eight straight games), a trend the team is no doubt ready to end.

Rim of the World fell victim to Kaiser and their airtight defense on Friday. They took a 2-0 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Cats.

Meanwhile, San Gorgonio hasn't lost a match since December 28, 2024, a trend which continued in their latest game on Friday. Everything went their way against Bloomington as San Gorgonio made off with a 5-0 victory. Considering the Spartans have won six matches by more than two goals this season, Friday's blowout was nothing new.

They hit Bloomington with a four-pronged attack, as the team got scores from Yuliana Reyes (2), Kaelynn Mandujano, Mareli Barajas, and Jayla Orozco.

Rim of the World's loss dropped their record down to 4-11-2. As for San Gorgonio, their win bumped their record up to 13-2-4.
