Softball Recap: Kendrick Takes a Loss

Kendrick was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their tenth straight defeat dating back to last season. They lost 26-0 to the Sumter County Panthers. If the Cherokees were looking for revenge after losing 12-0 to the Panthers when the teams met back in September of 2024, then they'll just have to keep looking.

Kendrick's loss dropped their record down to 0-2. As for Sumter County, their win was their third straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 4-3.

We've got plenty of inter-region action coming up soon. Kendrick will take on rival Hardaway at 5:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Meanwhile, Sumter County is set to challenge their familiar foe Columbus at 5:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
