After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Glenwood, Calvary Christian was happy to have turned things around on Thursday. They walked away with a 3-0 victory over the Pike Road Patriots. The win was a breath of fresh air for the Knights as it put an end to their three-game losing streak.

Braxton Wilkinson tossed a big game, not allowing a single earned run and allowed only two hits over six innings pitched.

On the hitting side, Calvary Christian let Cam Houston and Tripp Ellison run wild. Houston scored two runs and stole a base while going 2-for-3, while Ellison scored a run and stole a base while going 3-for-3. The dominant performance gave Ellison a new career-high in hits. Bryson Brooks also deserves some recognition as he snagged his first stolen base of the season.
