Baseball Game Preview: Monroe Area Purple Hurricanes vs. Jefferson Dragons

For the second straight game, Monroe Area will face off against Jefferson. The Purple Hurricanes will be playing at home against the Dragons at 5:00 p.m. on Friday. Monroe Area has given up an average of 7.1 runs per game this season, but Friday's game will give them a chance to turn things around.

Monroe Area is coming in off a wild two-game stretch: after soaring to 12 runs on Friday, they were much more limited against Jefferson on Tuesday. They lost 13-1 to the Dragons. The Purple Hurricanes haven't had much luck with the Dragons recently, as the team has come up short the last seven times they've met.
