Baseball Recap: Paris Takes a Loss

Paris blew Danville out of the water the last time the pair played, but on Thursday Danville got their revenge. The Tigers fell just short of the Vikings by a score of 4-2. The matchup marked the Tigers' lowest-scoring game so far this season.

This is the second loss in a row for Paris and nudges their season record down to 5-4. Even worse, they were so close both times: the losses came by an average of only 1.5 runs. As for Danville, their victory (their first of the season) made their record 1-7.

Coming up, Paris will head out to square off against Okaw Valley at 2:00 p.m. on Saturday. As for Danville, they will look to defend their home field on Friday against Bloomington at 4:30 p.m.
