Softball Recap: Make It 11 in a Row for Turpin

Turpin waltzed into their match on Tuesday with ten straight wins... but they left with 11. They blew past the Boise City Wildcats 13-1. Considering the Cardinals have won 13 games by more than six runs this season, Tuesday's blowout was nothing new.

Alissa Peters made a splash no matter where she played. She pitched two innings while giving up no earned runs off two hits. Peters was also big at the plate, getting on base in two of her three plate appearances with one run and one RBI.

In other batting news, Rae Peters was incredible, going 2-for-3 with one home run and five RBI. Miah Ortiz was another key player, getting on base in two of her three plate appearances with one stolen base, one run, and one RBI.

Turpin always had someone on base and finished the game having posted an OBP of .654. That's the best OBP they've posted all season.

Turpin's victory bumped their record up to 21-5. As for Boise City, their loss dropped their record down to 0-5.

Turpin does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Boise City, they will take on Laverne at 12:00 p.m. on Thursday.
