Herbert Hoover faced Parkersburg in a battle between two of the state's top teams on Friday. The Huskies took their game with ease, bagging a 47-14 victory over the Big Reds. The Huskies might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won six contests by 33 points or more this season.

Herbert Hoover pushed their record up to 7-2 with the win, which was their fourth straight at home. The home victories came thanks in part to their defensive effort, having only surrendered 12.0 points on average over those games. As for Parkersburg, their loss dropped their record down to 5-5.

Looking ahead, Herbert Hoover will be playing in front of their home fans against Weir at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Parkersburg does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
