Basketball Game Preview: Sheridan Broncs vs. Kelly Walsh Trojans

Sheridan and Kelly Walsh are an even 5-5 against one another since March of 2021, but not for long. The Sheridan Broncs will look to take advantage of their home court for the first time this season as they take on the Kelly Walsh Trojans at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday. The teams are on pretty different trajectories at the moment (Sheridan has three straight victories, Kelly Walsh has 11 straight losses), but none of that matters once you're on the court.

Last Saturday, Sheridan was able to grind out a solid win over Natrona County, taking the game 64-51.

Meanwhile, Kelly Walsh suffered their biggest defeat since February 10th on Saturday. They lost 64-43 to Arvada West.

Sheridan will need focus on slowing down Jonah Boulanger, one of several Kelly Walsh players who made an impact when they last played. He posted eight points. The dominant performance gave Boulanger a new career-high in points. The team also got some help courtesy of Mason Eager, who had 13 points.

Kelly Walsh's loss dropped their record down to 0-3. As for Sheridan, their victory bumped their record up to 3-0.

Sheridan barely slipped by Kelly Walsh in their previous meeting on Friday, winning 65-64. Will Sheridan repeat their success, or does Kelly Walsh have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
