Meanwhile, Athens Academy's game two weeks ago was all tied up 0-0 at the half, but luckily for them it didn't stay that way. They had just enough and edged out Rabun County 1-0. The victory was some much needed relief for Athens Academy as it spelled an end to their three-game losing streak.

Tallulah Falls pushed their record up to 13-1 with the win, which was their seventh straight at home. The home victories came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they scored 55 goals over those seven games. As for Athens Academy, their win bumped their record up to 5-7.

Tallulah Falls took their victory against Athens Academy when the teams last played back in February of 2024 by a conclusive 9-1 score. In that matchup, the Indians amassed a halftime lead of 4-1, an impressive feat they'll look to repeat on Thursday.
