After flying high against Sheboygan Area Lutheran on Thursday, Kohler came back down to earth. The Blue Bombers fell just short of the Valders Vikings by a score of 3-2 on Thursday. The Blue Bombers' loss signaled the end of their six-game winning streak.

Kohler saw five different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Nolan Kading, who went 1-for-4 with one stolen base and one run.

Kohler's defeat dropped their record down to 11-10. As for Valders, they have been performing well recently as they've won four of their last five matchups. That's provided a nice bump to their 7-10 record this season.

Kohler will head out on the road to face off against New Holstein at 4:30 p.m. on Tuesday. The Huskies' pitching crew has only allowed four runs per game this season, so the Blue Bombers' hitters will have their work cut out for them. As for Valders, they have already played their next game, a 5-4 win against Howards Grove on the 22nd.
