Baseball Recap: Polo Comes Up Short

Fans were treated to a battle of the Panthers on Thursday. Polo came up short against North Platte, falling 9-2. Polo just can't catch a break and has now endured three defeats in a row.

Polo's loss dropped their record down to 7-14. As for North Platte, their win ended a four-game drought at home and bumped them up to 17-9.

Polo does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for North Platte, they will square off against Plattsburg at 6:00 p.m. on Monday. The Tigers' pitching crew has only allowed 3.4 runs per game this season, so the Panthers' hitters will have their work cut out for them.
