Baseball Recap: Terrell Academy Comes Up Short

Terrell Academy's last matchup with Southwest Georgia Academy could've gone either way, but unfortunately the same can't be said for the pair's matchup on Thursday. The Eagles lost 12-6 to the Warriors. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Warriors this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 4-2 back in February.

Terrell Academy's loss dropped their record down to 7-9. As for Southwest Georgia Academy, they pushed their record up to 11-1 with the win, which was their sixth straight on the road.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Terrell Academy will square off against Citizens Christian Academy at 4:30 p.m. on Monday. As for Southwest Georgia Academy, they will challenge Sherwood Christian Academy at 4:00 p.m. on Friday. The Eagles will aim to continue their three-game streak of scoring more runs each contest than the last.
