Meanwhile, it was a proper cat-fight when Lick-Wilmerding faced off against Marin Academy on Thursday. The Tigers lost 6-0 to the Wildcats. Lick-Wilmerding have struggled against Marin Academy recently, as the game was their eighth consecutive lost matchup.

University is on a roll lately: they've won five of their last six matchups. That's provided a massive bump to their 10-6-2 record this season. The victories came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they scored 23 goals over those six contests. As for Lick-Wilmerding, their defeat dropped their record down to 3-8.

University got the 'W' when the teams last played back in December of 2025 against Lick-Wilmerding by a conclusive 4-1 score. Will the Red Devils repeat their success, or do the Tigers have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
