It was fun while it lasted, but Redwood's undefeated season came to an end after seven games on Friday. They and the Sanger Apaches finished up on equal footing with a 2-2 draw. The result kept the Rangers happy, as they haven't lost a game yet this season.

Alexis Rico and Kwyn Bruce scored both of Redwood's goals, bringing their combined season tally to three goals.

Redwood's draw gives them a new season record of 7-0-1. Meanwhile, Sanger's record is now 10-1-1.

Redwood and Sanger's offenses will be put to the test in their next games. Redwood and Clovis West (who has only given up 0.5 goals per game) will meet at 5:00 p.m. on Friday. Redwood is strutting in with some offensive muscle as they've averaged 3.1 goals per game this season. Similarly, Sanger will face off against Clovis North at 5:00 p.m. on January 4, 2025, a team that's only allowed 0.29 goals per game.
